Samson (Saheed) Opeyemi Fidimaye was born in Ile-Ife, Osun State in 1991, the second child of Oluwatoyin and Olabanji Ajasa Fidimaye. During his undergraduate years at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, he was involved in a number of literary activities, both personal and cooperative, including writing dramas for the drama unit of one of the university’s chapel.
Samson was not always a missionary. He wrote and completed his first official novel, Godsend, when he was in 100 level, though the work did not get published until he was in his final year. After he graduated from the university, he made his first manuscript sale, “The Blindfolded”, to Lasswell Books Services in 2014, whose title, on publication, was changed to “The Forbidden”. He also made a contribution to children’s literature around this period titled “Naughty Fred”, published by Apex Publishers. He has six published books as at 2016.
Samson has been writing books and songs since he was thirteen. He currently operates as a Christian writer, literature evangelist, health missionary and Christian artiste. He is the founder of a start-up non-governmental organisation, Mission to African Neighbours (MAN), whose mission is to alleviate poverty and suffering amongst the less-privileged while bringing them to Christ.
Samson is the 2012 recipient of the Babcock University Association of Information Resources Management Students Graduating Class Award for the most talented graduating student, to the glory of God.
